The call you do not want to take first

A retainer agency often hears that a site broke from the client, and then has nothing to show about what happened or what it caught.

Without proofA made-up morning
  1. The client writes: the shop is down
  2. You look from your desk: it is
  3. They ask what happened. There is no record.
With BeamfarA made-up morning
  1. Region A sees a failure: no alert yet
  2. Region B agrees: one alert, with what changed
  3. You tell the client first, with the evidence
  • Know before the client. A site is called down only when two regions agree, so a quiet night stays quiet. When it is real, the alert already carries what each region saw.
  • Catch what “up” hides. A certificate close to expiry, a DNS record a client edited, a deploy that added noindex, a domain about to lapse: one timeline, next to the incident.
  • Show the work. A monthly report and a status page per client, every number taken from a stored check, with your name on them on the Agency and Agency Plus plans.

Demo agency / PortfolioDemo data, made up
The portfolio of a demo agency: one site down, one with a regional issue, ten steady, grouped by client, with the latest check of each region.
  • Trouble first. The client with a site down comes first, then a regional issue, then the steady ones.
  • Each region in words. The latest check of each region beside every site, so a regional issue is plain.
  • One page per client. A status page and a monthly report follow each client. Open a sample status page.

A month with a portfolio

A made-up example, to show the shape of the work: the quiet changes on a Monday, the report on the first of the month.

Something changed on a Friday

On Monday the timeline shows a DNS change on one client site, a certificate that renews in nine days, and a page that became noindex after a deploy.

  1. DNS: an A record of www.birch.example changed
  2. A deploy set a page of shop.alder.example to noindex
  3. The certificate of cedar.example renews in nine days

None of the three was an outage. All three would have become a client email.

The first of the month

Each client gets a report you did not have to assemble. Gaps are labelled data unavailable, so the report stays true when a check could not run.

Questions

Who is it for?

Web agencies and freelancers who look after client sites on retainers, on any stack.

Can I put my own brand on reports and status pages?

Yes, on the Agency and Agency Plus plans: your name, logo and accent colour. The client’s own domain for a status page is built (Team, Agency and Agency Plus plans), but not yet tested against real DNS and TLS.

Can I buy it today?

No. The 14-day trial is free and needs no card; paid plans open soon, and the prices shown may change before then.

How is it different from a general uptime monitor?

It confirms downtime from two regions, attaches what changed just before each incident, alerts on SEO-risk signals and writes a report per client. It checks less than a broad platform. The comparison pages say where each tool is better.

Prove the retainer, every month.

Paste your client list and both regions start checking. Judge the evidence yourself.
