The website
This website sets no cookies, keeps nothing in your browser and loads nothing from other websites. That includes the free site check (“Check a site now”): it uses no cookie, no local storage and no third-party script. When you arrive through a link with campaign labels, the sign-up links of that page carry at most four short labels (the utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign of the link and the host of the referring website); nothing is stored in your browser. Never the address of a page. Motion follows your device’s reduced-motion setting; nothing is stored for it.
The app: local storage
The app also keeps a few small items in your browser’s local storage. They are not sent anywhere and are not used for analytics or advertising.
- Your sign-up address
- The e-mail address you typed at sign-up: removed after 1 hour or at your first sign-in.
- The plan and site you chose
- The plan you picked on our website and the website address you checked with the free site check: kept 1 day, until the sign-up is done.
- The last organisation
- The organisation you opened last, so the app opens it again.
- The last sign-in method
- Whether you signed in with e-mail, Google or GitHub, so that way is shown first.
- View and shortcuts
- Whether you prefer the list or the grid of sites, and whether keyboard shortcuts are on.
In the app, the campaign labels of the visit that brought you (at most four short labels) are kept only in its memory until your organisation is created, and never on your device; they feed a first-party count of campaign labels and are sent to nobody else. Items an earlier version kept are removed.
