Who we are
Beamfar is operated by CRM LR S.R.L., Sat Câmpani nr. 225, 417140 Comuna Câmpani, județul Bihor, Romania, registration number J2019001334052.
Who can buy
Beamfar is for agencies, businesses and individuals. A business (a company, an organisation, or a freelancer buying for their trade or profession) can buy from any country. An individual buying for themselves, outside any trade or profession, is a consumer and can buy from a country of the European Union for now: individual plans are available in the EU for now; buying for a business works everywhere.
Everyone who creates an account confirms that they are 18 or older, in the words the sign-up page shows; the confirmation and the version of these terms are recorded. We do not ask for an identity document or a date of birth. Before the first payment an owner says who pays: a business (its name, address and, where it has one, its VAT or tax number) or an individual (name and address). That choice decides the VAT and the invoice, and it cannot be changed while a subscription runs. The rights in “If you buy as an individual” below apply to an individual.
What the service does
Checks websites from more than one region, opens an incident for a page check only when more than one region confirms a failure, and sends alerts by e-mail, Slack or signed webhook. A scheduled-task monitor opens an incident when its ping is missed.
What the service does not promise: no monitoring service sees every outage, and a likely cause shown for an incident is computed from public records and our own checks: it can be wrong and says so. The limit of our liability for missed or late alerts is set by the lawyer in the final text.
Accounts and security
Each person has their own account. Owners and admins of an organisation must use a second factor. You keep your credentials safe and tell us at once if you think someone else used them. An owner of the organisation decides about the plan, the payment method and cancelling.
Plans, prices and the trial
The plans, their limits and their prices are on the pricing page. Prices are in euros. A business sees them excluding VAT; an individual sees the final price, with the VAT included and its amount stated, and the app shows that price again before the payment. A yearly plan costs ten monthly payments. Each organisation can try a plan once for 14 days without a card, and each person once; nothing is charged during the trial. When it ends without a paid plan, the organisation moves to the Free plan, which costs nothing: one site stays monitored and the others pause, nothing is deleted, and a plan can be chosen at any time. A person has one Free organisation: when the person who created this organisation already created another one that is or was on the Free plan, this one pauses at the end of its trial instead, as after a plan ends. We tell owners at least 30 days before a price change takes effect for them.
Payment, VAT and invoices
Payments are taken by our payment provider; card details never reach us. Every payment gets an invoice, issued by the company named above under Romanian law, through our invoicing provider: the owners get an e-mail with a link to its PDF, and the Billing page lists every invoice. A refund gets a credit note that cancels the invoice it refunds. For a card payment the invoice is the fiscal document; a receipt (chitanta) records a cash payment and is not issued (see receipt or invoice).
VAT: a business or an individual in Romania pays Romanian VAT. A business in another EU country that gives a valid VAT number (we check it in the EU’s VIES system) is invoiced without VAT under the reverse charge, and the invoice says so; without a valid number it pays Romanian VAT. A business outside the EU is invoiced without Romanian VAT; the rules of its own country apply to it. An individual in another EU country pays Romanian VAT while the EU rules for small cross-border sellers allow it (Article 59c of Directive 2006/112/EC); when they no longer do, the VAT of the individual’s own country applies, and until we can charge it, new purchases by individuals outside Romania may be paused. Invoices to businesses and individuals in Romania are also sent through the national e-invoicing system (RO e-Factura). We do not ask an individual for a personal identification number (CNP).
Renewal and cancelling
A plan renews by itself at the end of each paid period, monthly or yearly. Owners of a yearly plan get an e-mail about 30 days before it renews, with the date, the amount and how to stop it.
An owner cancels in the app at any time, on the Billing page, without writing to anyone. The plan then ends at the close of the period that is paid, does not renew and is not charged again; monitoring runs until that day. Until then “Keep my plan” undoes the cancellation. The time left in a paid period is not refunded, except when an individual withdraws within 14 days (below); the refunds and cancellation page has the details.
If you buy as an individual
These rights are yours by law; nothing in these terms takes them away. They do not apply to a purchase for a business.
The 14-day right of withdrawal
You can withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving a reason. The 14 days start on the day of the first payment of a subscription (the free trial does not start them) and end at the end of the fourteenth day after it, Romanian time. To withdraw, an owner of the organisation presses “Withdraw from contract here” on the Billing page and then “Confirm withdrawal”. You can also send us any clear statement: the model withdrawal form, an e-mail to the contact address in the imprint, or a support request with the topic “Withdraw from the contract”. It is enough that you send it before the 14 days end. We confirm it by e-mail without delay.
When you withdraw, the subscription ends at once and we refund every payment of that subscription in full, including the days you already used (after an earlier withdrawal: see below), within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, to the payment method you used, at no cost to you. Monitoring stops when the subscription ends; your data is then kept as after any plan that ends (below).
After an earlier withdrawal. If you withdrew from a plan in the last 12 months, a new plan starts only when you ask us to start the service at once and confirm that you know this: if you withdraw from that plan within its 14 days, we refund what you paid minus the part of the period already provided until you told us (Art. 14(3) of Directive 2011/83/EU). The first withdrawal is always refunded in full.
The legal guarantee of conformity
The service must be as these terms and our pages describe it, for as long as your subscription runs (Directive (EU) 2019/770 and, in Romania, Government Emergency Ordinance 141/2021). If it is not, tell us and we bring it into conformity free of charge, within a reasonable time and without major inconvenience to you. If we cannot or do not, or the lack of conformity is serious, you can have the price reduced in proportion or end the contract and get back what you paid for the time the service did not conform. During the subscription it is for us to show that the service conformed. There is no commercial guarantee beyond the legal one.
Complaints and disputes
Write to us through support in the app or the contact page, or by e-mail to the address in the imprint; a person reads every complaint and answers in writing. If we do not resolve it, you can turn to the Romanian consumer protection authority (ANPC) and use its alternative dispute resolution (SAL): reclamatiisal.anpc.ro. You can also go to court.
Your country’s law and courts
Romanian law applies to the contract, but you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live (Article 6 of Regulation (EC) No 593/2008, Rome I). You can bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live, and we can bring proceedings against you only there (Article 18 of Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012).
Your data when a plan ends
A copy of the organisation’s data can be downloaded at any time. After a plan ends, monitoring stops and the data is kept for 60 days so you can come back; the owners get an e-mail 14 days and again 3 days before it is deleted. An organisation that was on the Free plan before goes back to it instead: one site stays monitored, the others pause, and nothing is deleted. Invoices and billing records are kept as long as Romanian accounting law requires. The privacy notice and the data processing agreement explain who holds what.
Acceptable use
Add only websites you own or are authorised to monitor, and switch on the active security probes only for sites whose owner allows them: you are responsible for that authorisation. We run active probes only after the proof of control in the site’s DNS. No internal or private network addresses (the service refuses them); no load testing or abuse. What you publish on a status page (its title, texts, site names, incident notes and logo) must be lawful and must not infringe anyone’s rights.
Content on status pages: notices, decisions and complaints
Anyone can report content on a page we host that they consider illegal, through the report form. A person reads every report; no automated tool decides. When we restrict content (for example take a page offline) we tell the owners of the organisation what we did, why, on which legal or contractual ground, and how to challenge it. You can ask us to review a decision by replying to that message; a different person reviews it. You can also go to court or, where one is available, to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body.
The AI assistant
Where the app offers an AI assistant, it is labelled as one. It answers questions about your monitoring; its answers can be wrong, and it does not change anything in your account by itself.
Liability, law and courts
Romanian law applies, and for a business customer the courts of Bihor county (Oradea) have jurisdiction, without removing protections that the law of a customer’s country makes mandatory. An individual keeps the law and the courts of their own country as set out in “If you buy as an individual”. The liability limits are set in the final text; they never limit an individual’s rights under the legal guarantee.
Changes to these terms
We tell the owners by e-mail at least 30 days before a significant change takes effect, and say what changes. Owners then accept the new version in the app. A change that only corrects wording takes effect without that step. This version is “1”, in force from 2 November 2026.
