Freshping has shut down: what to look for in a replacement

In short

Freshping, the free website monitor from Freshworks, was reported discontinued: free access ended on 6 March 2026 and data was to be kept for 90 days afterwards. We could not read a Freshworks notice, so the facts below come from a quoted copy of the message and one guide, and you should confirm with Freshworks. If you ran client sites on it, the work now is to move the monitors, check the replacement confirms downtime the way you want, and tell clients.

Facts about Freshping checked on 2026-10-28, each with its source below. Beamfar is in its soft launch: the 14-day trial is free and needs no card, and paid plans open soon; their prices may change before then.

Who each tool is for

Freshping

Teams that used its free plan for simple uptime checks on a few sites.

Beamfar

Web agencies and freelancers who want monitoring with a two-region down rule, what-changed evidence, SEO-risk alerts and monthly reports. Beamfar’s paid plans open soon, so it is not a same-week replacement yet; the 14-day trial is free and needs no card. Individuals in the EU can buy it for their own sites too; individual plans are available in the EU for now.

Side by side

The Beamfar column describes what is built today. The Freshping column is what its own pages say, read on 2026-10-28; where a page did not say, the cell says so.
